CAT Deeley has sparked a MAJOR Twitter spat with a Los Angeles restaurant… even though she had £100 refunded off her bill.
Responding to the drama on their Facebook page, popular eatery Tom George branded her criticisms “inappropriate” saying she “didn’t like the food” so they gave it to her for free.
The TV presenter let rip at the downtown LA restaurant as the “hurt” waiter who served her pointed out she had her food comped and failed to leave a tip.
Clearly furious at the service she received, the 40-year-old mum-of-one urged her Twitter followers to stay away.
She even took a screen grab of a map showing the restaurant’s location so fans could “avoid at all costs”.
She wrote: “The worst featuring! Worst food! As for the manager?????? Moron!!!!!”
Before adding: “The most disgusting restaurant, terribly run, by a manager – who can only be described as an amateur. Avoid at all costs. #tomgeorge.”

However, the restaurant have now defended themselves in a statement on Facebook.
It reads: “We are listening to any feedback because we need to provide the best service what we could do.
“In this case we couldn’t do anything. She didn’t like the food so we comped all of the food items, then she tweeted a lot of inappropriate tweet although we tried to ease her “pain”.
“But she’s still very welcome in our restaurant again if she gives us any chance to prove her, the lot of good reviews are for a reason.”
As Cat continued her rant the waiter who served her waded in to give his side of the story.
She said her party was given the wrong order five times and that there was “zero service”.
Her waiter, named as J. Vasko-Bezenek, tweeted a picture of the bill showing the food was comped and that she did not leave a tip.
He wrote: “@catdeeley Cat, as your server at TomGeorge I am hurt by your response to free food. I gave you respect, and I served you with love.”
Retweeting his response, she said: “And as I respectfully told you, the catalogue of errors were not your fault . However the mistakes were repeatedly not correctly rectified.
“The food was terrible and your manager was unhelpful and rude. Respect and love should be shown to all, attention to detail is necessary too!”
She ended the exchange with: “Just to be clear. Our order arrived at the table incorrectly FIVE times! Then one of my guests dishes was inedible. There was zero service.”
Ouch.
