The clip also featured co-hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, who present the Friday instalment.

The presenters looked glamourous as they filmed a short promo on the roof at the top of the ITV studios.

Cat looked incredible in a neon yellow suit and Alison dazzled in a red co-ord.

While Dermot opted for a t-shirt and Ben went for a red polo shirt.

The camera then shot to Cat and Ben in the studio as they received a warm welcome back.

Ben told viewers: “We had so much fun, that promo that was up on the roof, we had to be cherry picked up there.”

Cat said: “It took seven minutes for each person to go up there and seven minutes to come down.

“It was hot, it was windy, there was no water and I desperately needed to pee.”

Ben revealed: “We had to halt proceedings for Deeley to go back down in the cherry picker.

“There were hard helmets and there were harnesses, weren’t there.”

Ben then asked: “Have you had a nicesummer? You look nice and tanned.”

Cat replied: “I had a really nice time just hanging out with the family, we’re like ‘we’re all having such a nice time, shall we stay a bit?’, so we did.”

Ben then revealed that his 18-year-old son Sam also returned for the summer.

He said: “He’s been away for seven and a half months, he’s off to university next month.”

The pair were last seen on our screens on July 11.

Viewers of the ITV show dubbed the two ‘part timers!’ when they revealed it was their ‘last day’ before their HUGE summer break over six weeks ago.

The pair present the ITV show every Monday to Thursday, who are then followed by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary every Friday.

Cat has had a pretty impressive summer break while away from This Morning.

She was joined by her husband Patrick Kielty.

The TV legend also gave a glimpse inside her summer holiday on social media.

Meanwhile Ben shared a series of snaps on his Instagram, including one of him enjoying a pint and playing golf.

The pair have also been snubbed by viewers after one of their co-stars beat them in a major TV awards.

Alison has been put in the Presenter category for this year’s National Television Awards.

Back in May The Sun revealed that This Morning was in crisis after ratings plummeted in two months after they were crowned new hosts.

Ben and Cat joined the show in March 2024 after being announced as the new presenters in February.

They took over the roles from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
